About Us

1 Happy Girl was founded in Spring 2008 by Paige Schwartz, a Chicago area-based model and shopping fanatic, whose love of fashion inspired her to start an online boutique where her favorite things are available to all. Working in a bridal boutique from the age of 15 selling bridal gowns and prom dresses, she wanted to expand into offering her own selection of less formal attire, geared toward teens and twenty-somethings with an eye for the latest trends.

The name "1 Happy Girl" is inspired by Paige's love for fashion as well, because when she is shopping, she is just that. People are always asking her "where did you get that shirt, handbag, necklace, scarf, etc.", so she decided to help them find these items that she loves. In addition to shopping, of course, she enjoys black & white photography, fashion design, Audrey Hepburn, anything chocolate, Chipotle Mexican Grill, the outdoors, has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh.
